Dedicated to: Furry Pelt
Always a smile, always a laugh
At least with a hint of cynical past.
A memory like an elephant that never forgets
I'd cry with the exact details of our past
He told me a story of a yoga performance
With leg warmers and spandex -
what more could you want?
His hands were healing, a blessed touch
With many a back rub during lunch.
Art and singing were his talents as doodles will show
He did graphic designing and sang very low
He loved to relax and gaze at the stars
At least with a friend and a big chocolate bar.
His head would be buried in a sci-fi book
Dr Who and Star Trek conventions would tempt him a look
Robert was the sweetest man I ever knew
He cared for everyone and could never say no
He had a shoulder as big as a dam
He would pick you up from wherever you had lain
His heart was huge and his love a plenty
I will miss his smile and his teasing gently
I don't want to think that you are not with me,
So you will always be there in my memory
I will see you again when the future sees fit
But look down on me from heaven with your wisdom and wit
I wanted to kiss you and say goodbye
And to tell you I loved you even though you have died
Sweet dreams dear Robert
We all love and miss you
You are at peace now & heaven has an angel
