Dedicated to: Matthew Hallett

Matthew, our youngest, was born in 1966 and died eight weeks short of his thirtieth birthday. By his mid-twenties his health was deteriorating and we learnt that he was HIV positive. It was not long before hospital admissions alternated with respite care in the Mildmay and he bravely fought each additional infection. He was determined to go once again to Egypt and was only deterred when he broke his hip and began to lose his sight. We miss him greatly, and remember with much love his courage and determination, his generous nature, the support of his many friends, and hold him always in our hearts. Barbara and Geoff Hallett.
